HEME LOW - E COATING DETECTOR

The Heme Low E Detector that uses a unique microprocessor based method to detect the presence and location of any Low-E coatings (or other conductive coatings) on a single piece of glass. These detectors are also commonly referred to as a K glass detector because of the early models that only detected Pilkington K Glass, our Low E Detector is constantly keeping pace with innovation and is capable of detecting all Low E coatings. The meter can also test glass that is installed into a sealed insulating unit (doublepane). The meter does not have to contact the coating in order to detect it, as it will detect the coatings through the glass. The detector is a valuable tool to use in the production environment to confirm the orientation of the Low-E glass. The meters can be used in production to guarantee the Low-E glass is being placed into the washers correctly, AND to confirm the Low-E pane is being installed properly into the sealed insulating units. The detector is a rugged meter that can also be used in the field to test sealed double-glazed windows.

To operate the meter, simply press the flat bottom surface of the meter against the glass, andpress the power button. One of the three indicators will instantly identify the presence andlocation of any Low-E coatings on the piece of glass you are testing. The Micro+ is totallyportable and is powered by a 9-volt alkaline battery (included).

The Heme Low-e detector will detect any type of Low-E coating, whether it is hard coat (pyrolytic) or soft coat(sputter). This meter is factory calibrated by software and never needs to be returned forcalibration and requires no field adjustments.
